Tomato Emergency!

There is a lot more out in the garden than this, almost ripe.
You know what I'll be doing for the next several days.....not sewing!

Oh Yeah! I spend some days canning myself this summer...and it was wonderful. Now, that row of jars just welcomes me into the kitchen. A very comforting feeling to do it with your own hands. Enjoy!

I was looking at my apple tree yesterday with a similar feeling of dread. I love to put some apple chutney up, but giving up a day to a not kitchen--not so much.

Good luck with the tomatoes. Your garden looks lovely, as usual.

Yummy looking tomatoes, Allie. That's a real plus for living in your part of the state. We just can't grow them here......
